WHEN Amanda Turnbull first watched Sweet Heaven race she didn't have a win to her name, but since making the move to The Lagoon the career record of the New Zealand mare couldn't be better.

On Friday night at the Bathurst Paceway Sweet Heaven made it four wins from as many starts for trainer-driver Turnbull when taking out the Garrards Horse and Hound Ladyship Pace (1,730 metres).
While her best result from four New Zealand starts was a one metre second, in each of her outings for Turnbull she's been a comfortable winner.
Yet the string of victories for the Sweet Lou x She's Heavenly four-year-old has not come as a huge surprise for Turnbull.
"I think it's more just that the breed don't come good 'til a bit later, they don't push them over in New Zealand, so that's good," she said.
While copping a barrier 10 draw on Friday night, Sweet Heaven still started as the short $1.15 favourite.
As the green light was given the speed was on up front, Regretable doing enough from her barrier one draw to stop Shez On Target from crossing.
Their battle out of the gates saw Sweet Heaven spot them some six lengths and while the field then bunched back up, Turnbull's favourite was one out and four back as the bell sounded.
Regretable led the field into the back straight with Shez On Target a neck back on her outside, but behind them after a 59 seconds first half Turnbull was on the move with Sweet Heaven.
Turnbull's mare worked three wide and at the 400m mark was eyeballing the leading duo. From there she took control.
By the top of the home straight Sweet Heaven had put eight metres on her rivals and went on to win by a comfortable 6.5 metres in a 1:57.8 mile rate.
Classical Music ($9) was a clear second for trainer-driver Mat Rue, with Mark Hewitt's third placed Good Cheddar This ($5.50) a further 12.5m back.
"Tonight was the first time she's had to come from behind, but her best win was probably her second one where she ran a bit of time and done it real tough," Turnbull said.
"I think she is very tough and she's quick as well, so it's pretty handy to have both. She's a bit of a handful, but that's okay, especially when they're a mare."
Sweet Heaven's win was one of three on the evening for Turnbull's stable, with Hold My Halo ($2.90) saluting with Isobel Ross in the gig and the trainer-driver getting the job done with Lady Angelina ($1.45 favourite).
Turnbull now sits on 98 winning drives in New South Wales for the season.
