BATHURST trainers Gemma Hewitt and Chris Frisby each claimed victories from Saturday night's Albion Park meeting, but not before both had to sit through a tense wait for a photo finish.

Hewitt's Kash Us Back ($1.95 favourite, Brendan Barnes) saluted as favourite in the Aqua Constructions Pace (2,138 metres) when he charged down Lombo Heaven ($5, Lombo Heaven) in the very last metre of the race.
It's the third victory for the Changeover five-year-old since he began his Queensland campaign in June.
Our Uncle Sam ($3.60, Nathan Dawson) managed to charge down both Will The Wizard ($13, Pete McMullen) and favourite Mach Da Vinci ($2.80, Shane Graham) in the Welcome To The Creek Open Pace (2,138m).
Victory marked the second time in the space of three starts that Frisby's former Inter Dominion runner-up won a race in a photo finish.
Hewitt said she's been very impressed by Kash Us Back's workrate since heading to Queensland.
"It was pretty tight and I wasn't sure whether he'd got there. He had the perfect trip but they walked it so it was going to be a sprint home. He had to make up that length on the leader and he was just able to get there," she said.
"He was always going to get the sprint lane trip but it was a question of whether the leader got it too easy in front. He just got there in the nick of time.
"The whole team is flourishing in Queensland, but him in particular. He was struggling at home, and had hit a flat spot, and was finding it hard to race at Menangle. He loves the racing here and he's not far away off becoming a fast class horse."
While the NSW lockdown remains in effect Hewitt is happy to keep the Queensland campaign going for as long as necessary.
"At this stage I think I'll just stay here on a more permanent basis. It wasn't the plan originally but the team is going well, the horses look great and I'm enjoying the change too," she said.
"I'm up here with no set plans but there's no plans in the near future to come back to Bathurst."
Hewitt's former Group 1 winner Keayang Kreuzer ($8) finished fifth in the same race.
