I wish to welcome this great project proposal, but please, not in the CBD.

I believe the proposed location to be totally out of place.

Have we not enough boxes (buildings) already that have replaced our beautiful heritage buildings of the past?

Had the councils in the past had the foresight in preserving them, we would have an abundance of tourists flocking to admire our beautiful heritage buildings as well as our beautiful streets and parks.

OTHER RECENT LETTERS:

Yes, I agree with an upward extension of the existing car park.

But only by two to three storeys maximum, which would somewhat relieve the parking shortages within the CBD without visually impacting.

I am hoping that forward thinking prevails.
