It followed just the one new COVID case being recorded in the 24 hours to 8pm on Tuesday, though there were five new cases in the 24 hour period before that.
That keeps Bathurst's active COVID cases tally at 21.
The NSW Government's 11am update said there were 23 new cases in the Western NSW Local Health District: 18 at Dubbo, four at Orange and one at Brewarrina.
Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said there were 960 COVID tests in Bathurst in the 24-hour reporting period - well up on the 665 tests the previous day.
Across NSW, there were 1288 new locally acquired cases of COVID and seven deaths, all of them in Sydney.
NSW Health said there were 160 COVID cases in intensive care in the state's hospitals, of whom 64 were on ventilation.
Deputy Premier John Barilaro made particular mention of Dubbo, which has been the epicentre of the Western NSW Local Health District COVID cases.
He said the city had increased its first vaccination dose percentage from 35 per cent of the population to 69 per cent.
