To be played in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi, the match will be the Socceroos' second in five days, with the first being a impressive 3-0 win against China on Friday morning.
Grant played the full 90 minutes in the opening match of Australia's third round of qualifying for the World Cup, helping his nation keep a clean sheet.

With a top two spot guaranteeing a place in the tournament at Qatar in 2022, a win away against Vietnam is crucial with tough matches coming up Asian heavyweights Japan and Saudi Arabia in the coming months.
Grant is expected to play his 15th match for the Socceroos on Tuesday night, the Sydney FC veteran the only A-League player picked in the 27-man squad to play against China and Vietnam.
Grant's teammate and number one goalkeeper Matthew Ryan knows the importance of a win, saying he's not even fussed about the Socceroos winning nine consecutive World Cup qualifiers for the first time.
"It's nice to break these sorts of records but we're definitely not going to rest our laurels on it," explained Ryan.
"It was the first of ten games so as far as I'm concerned, it's one down and nine to go.
"We'll enjoy this victory but we're a long way from finishing the job."
Ryan labelled Tuesday night's game against Vietnam as "huge".
"Tuesday is a huge game for everybody," said Ryan.
"We will be doing everything we can to recuperate and recover. It's important we make use of the available facilities to be as fresh as possible for the match against Vietnam."
Vietnam will be no pushover for the Socceroos, as the nation is considered a rising force in Asian football, having been finalists in the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup in 2018 and having reached the quarter finals of the senior AFC Asian Cup in 2019, going out to eventual runners-up Japan 1-0.
Vietnam come into the match having lost 3-1 to Saudi Arabia in their first third round qualifying match on Friday.
The Vietnamese, who are appearing in the third stage of World Cup qualifying for the first time, will be without right-back Do Duy Manh after he was sent off in the previous match.
The match will be at My Dinh National Stadium behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam.
Australia's World Cup qualifier against the Vietnamese will kick-off at 10pm on Tuesday night.
