According to Weatherzone, there's a chance of up to 40 millimetres to fall in Bathurst from Tuesday to Saturday, with the majority to come on Wednesday, with a 90 per cent chance of anywhere between 10-20 millimetres.

Weatherzone meteorologist Joel Pippard said thunderstorms are likely to develop in the Thursday afternoon and could be severe.
"There's a decent chance some of those thunderstorms across the region could become severe," he said.
"The rain will probably be heaviest on Wednesday, so there is a chance of thunderstorms then but particularly Thursday, it looks like it could be a severe thunderstorm day.
"We could see damaging winds and large hail from the looks of it."
