THE script said that ORC were supposed to come into the Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket competition this season and take some time to find their feet before they'd have a chance of blowing any team away.

The Tigers have decided they're not in the mood for following such a thing.
ORC stunned everyone in the BOIDC on Saturday by recording an emphatic nine wicket victory over Bathurst City at Morse Park 1, led by a brilliant spell of bowling from Tait Borgstahl and three solid performances with the bat from Dave and Wayne Sellers and Ben Cant.
Borgstahl's 4-40 saw him tear through the Redbacks middle order before City's Clint Moxon (50 not out) did his best to help his side post a more competitive target.
Wayne Sellers then cut loose on the Redbacks bowlers with 43 runs off just 22 deliveries.
From there Dave Sellers (74 not out) and Ben Cant 52) put on an unbeaten century partnership to have the points secured before the 24th over.
With both clubs having players away at the Western Cricket Zone Colts Carnival it was a big depth test for each teams.
Dave Sellers is hopeful the result is a sign of things to come for ORC.
"We're very happy with it, because we had five boys away at the Western colts carnival, though in saying that they also had boys away at that as well," he said.
"But that still gives us a lot of confidence. We haven't shown that we've been able to be competitive with one of the big teams like Pat's, Rugby or Orange City so there's still a long way to go.
"Obviously it's a massive win but we don't want to read too much into it."
Mark Day (29) and Ben Orme (26) did their best to hang around with the bat before Moxon picked up the pace with a couple of big hits late in the piece.
"If we're being really critical we could have even knocked them over for maybe 30 runs less but Clint Moxon did a good job for them at the end," Sellers said.
"But when Wayne comes in and helps to take us to somewhere around 0-60 off just four overs, that took a lot of pressure off. That was impressive to watch.
"When we had a start like that Ben and I just looked to play it sensibly. Ben's class. He's a super mature batsman."
All six Tigers bowlers came away with at least one wicket.
Another standout with the ball for ORC was Hugh Parsons, who was economical with 2-15 from 6.5 overs.
"We've been bowling Tait with Hugh Parsons and that's been working well because they can't seem to get Hugh away, so that allows Tait to be a bit more attacking on his end," Sellers said.
