ALSO MAKING NEWS:
A spokesperson for the NRMA said it was "good news" for Bathurst motorists.
However, prices are expected to rise in the coming weeks.
"We're at the bottom of the price cycle for Sydney generally now, coming off the back of a string of declines in world crude oil prices," they said.
"Looking ahead, we're starting to see the average Mogas price - Mogas is the product we buy from Singaporean refineries, which becomes our fuel - we've seen some price rises of 1.4 cents per litre in the last week.
"We are anticipating that in the next couple of weeks [fuel prices] are going to go up.
"Now is a great time to be filling up."
The spokesperson said it was important to check the NRMA app or the Fuel Check website to see where the cheapest prices are in each area.
Bathurst is known to have major discrepancies between different retailers, which pushes up the city's average price.
This makes it even more important to know the local prices before filling up.
As of Tuesday afternoon, there were eight retailers offering unleaded for below the average price.
The cheapest was the United on Durham Street, where this fuel variety was advertised for 143.9 cents per litre.
The same retailer also had the best prices for diesel, 146.9 cents per litre, and for e10, 141.9 cents per litre.
