While Vee has performed at The Victoria a number of times as part of The Album Show, a collective paying tribute to classic albums, this will be her first performance at the venue solo.
"It's pretty rare for me to perform solo at the moment as the pandemic interrupted my plans for a tour in 2020, so I'm making up for lost time," Vee said.
"I do a lot of touring as a hired musician for other bands, but there's nothing quite like being alone on stage performing your own music to connect with audiences on an intimate level."
Vee will be supported by local acts Smith & Jones and Andy Nelson, and she said she's looking forward to the opportunity to return to The Victoria.
"The crowd is always warm and receptive there, they're proper music lovers, and Smith & Jones and Andy are three musicians I have immense respect for, so I think it'll be a great night."
Vee has released two solo albums and toured extensively in Australia and abroad, warming up stages for artists as diverse as Luka Bloom, Newton Faulkner, Passenger, Mark Seymour, Renee Geyer and more.
Doors open Friday at 6pm. Tickets cost $20.
