Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews from Kelso and Bathurst were called to a property on View Street, Kelso at 7.51pm on Thursday following reports that a building was on fire.
“We arrived to find a garden shed at the rear of a residential dwelling totally involved in fire,” Kelso FRNSW Captain Scott Wilson said.
“It was quickly extinguished by both Kelso and Bathurst stations.
“Ambulance and police were also on scene with no injuries reported.”
Captain Wilson said at this stage it looks like lightning from a storm may have caused the blaze.
