The star Bathurst triathlete, who currently holds an International Triathlon Union world ranking of 51, is using the six-round series based in Victoria as part of her preparation for bigger challenges which lie ahead in 2020.
Last season she enjoyed podiums in three of the first four rounds of the 2XU series, which included a pair of wins, and now she has made a solid start to the 2019-20 edition as well.
While missing the series opener, she placed third in the elite female sprint distance event in round two at Sandringham then last Sunday backed that up with success at Saint Kilda.
Moana-Veale covered the 600 metres swim, 26.7 kilometre cycle and 5km run sprint course in a time of one hour, 12 minutes, 10.2 seconds. It saw her as a comfortable victor, beating home runner-up Emma Hogan (1:13.11.6) by more than a minute.
While her run split - an 18.09.6 - was the fastest in the field as she averaged a kilometre every 3.37 minutes, she felt it was the swim which set up the win.

She was second out of the water with a 8:16.3 split - Hogan the only competitor to go quicker - but with a quick transition Moana-Veale was first to hit the cycle leg.
"Happy to take the win on Sunday in the third round of the local 2XU series. The races are a really good opportunity to have a strong hit out and get some racing under the belt before some bigger races later in the year," she said.
"Fortunately I was able to lead the swim and remain comfortable on the bike, so was able to push the early kilometres on the run to establish a solid lead early, then was able to relax."
The fourth round of the series will be staged on February 2 at Elwood, a course on which Moana-Veale won last season.
