The fundraiser saw the club donate $1 from each Lion-owned beer [Iron Jack, Tooheys New, XXXX Gold] sold on tap between New Year's Eve and Australia Day towards drought-stricken businesses.
In addition, the fundraiser invited club patrons to shout a 'virtual schooner' valued between $5 and $50.
Bathurst RSL president Ian Miller said it was fantastic to see the club exceed its $25,000 goal.
"We trust that the CWA will put our contribution to good use," Mr Miller said.
CWA NSW state executive committee member Helena Donaldson said the donation will help fund a series of grants to assist farmers with household expenses.
"We offer $3000 grants to assist with food and bills and the RSL's contribution essentially covers 11 of these grants," Ms Donaldson said.
"Since 2018, the CWA has dispersed $16.5 million through the Disaster Relief Fund towards drought-stricken families."
Of the total figure raised, $8000 came from Tony and Rosemary Spina.
"These farmers are the backbone of this country and we can't forget about their plight," Mr Spina said.
