With 11 rounds completed Team Wham have won 10 of their 11 matches, a truly remarkable achievement.
Captain 'Slugger' Bullock's side of Jeorge Collins, Garth Hindmarch, Rebekka Fisher, Kath Wilkinson, Cal Hobson and Sebastian Honeyman are now hot favourites to take that coveted golden crown but are not getting too carried away as it's a different ball game in a grand final.
Club committeeman Graeme Stapleton believes we could see history in the making in this year's final. '
'Slugger Bullock captained his side to the biggest win in a grand final in the history of the club winning 11 sets to 1. He could quite easily do it again in this years final. Its a big ask but not out of sluggers reach. If he plays his trump card anything could happen," he said.
Let's have a look at what the other captains think on sluggers side winning this years grand final.
JUDY SMITH - Any thing can happen in grand finals so Team Wham could get slammed.
ROBERT MACK - Bullock's side are no certainties but they do have some very crafty players in their side. It will be very interesting.
IRON LADY ALLYSON SCHUMACHER - I give Slugger's side 50 to 1 to win the big one. They have peaked too soon. How many times do you see sides go through undefeated through the rounds and when they get to that big grand final the wheels fall off? It could well and truly happen this year.
ANDREW HOWARTH - It will be a walk in the park for Slugger's side. Too smart, too strong and to crafty for whoever they play against in the big one.
The critics believe this years grand final will be the year of the underdog and that Slugger Bullock is a has been that lives in the past.
Slugger slammed the critics for their nasty comments. '
'Do these guys know anything about tennis? No. I just cant wait to see the egg streaming down there faces after the final," he said.
Well folks another great round of tennis at the biggest little club in the west, until we meet again, it's Slugger signing off.
