Meals on Wheels clients in the Bathurst region are set to receive a complimentary hygiene pack, as a result of a partnership with Reckitt and Woolworths.

Meals on Wheels currently serves 225 clients in both Bathurst and Oberon and volunteers started delivery packs last week, with more packs set to be delivered out this week.
Bathurst Meals on Wheels general manager Linda Roszkiewicz said both Reckitt and Woolworths have been key supporters, particularly during the coronavirus pandemic, and she's been thankful for their support.

"There's been a lot of donations from different organisations during the pandemic, especially hand sanitiser and toilet paper," she said.
"These hygiene packs give our clients just that extra protection and they greatly appreciate the donations."
The hygiene packs that are being donated features hand sanitiser, disinfectant gel and wipes, surface sanitiser and multipurpose cleaner.
"The insensitive to donate hygiene items started during the start of the pandemic, when Reckitt started donating hand sanitiser," she said.
Woolworths Bathurst manager Michael Tohkle said it was important to assist organisations such as Bathurst Meals on Wheels because of the "valuable service they provide to our local community".
