The businesses are donating various items to the Seymour Centre to be included in the little pick-me-up packages, which will be delivered to the centre's clients while they are unable to attend their regular activities.
The centre's CEO Terisa Ashworth said the bags include biscuits, magazines and craft packs - "anything that will bring some joy to our clients and carers".
"We don't want people doing home cooking, but if there's anything pre-packaged or any little gift items that people would like [they would be welcomed for the bags].
"It doesn't have to be a huge quantity. We can mix and match and different bags can have different items in them."
Local florist owner Vanessa Pringle has jumped on board, delivering flowers to clients to brighten up their day.
Bunnings, meanwhile, has also made a generous contribution, donating pot plants and potting mix to give the clients an activity to do at home.
Ms Ashworth said she is grateful for all donations and would love any businesses interested in making a donation to get in contact.
"Bathurst is a fantastic community and we appreciate the support," she said.
"We're all in this together and we're trying to keep people well and engaged ... it's about trying to brighten people's day."
The goody bags haven't been delivered yet as the safety of the clients is the centre's number one priority, however Ms Ashworth is hoping to begin deliveries as soon as possible.
