The single positive case was recorded for the Bathurst region.
It was the first time in nine days that there were no new cases recorded in the Cabonne LGA where a COVID cluster in Molong has now passed 50.
For those in Bathurst in need of testing, the drive-through clinic is at 250-252 Howick Street (Old Clancy's Car Yard, entry via Rankin Street entrance at the Bathurst RSL Club) from 8am-4pm, seven days. No booking is required.

Statewide, NSW has recorded 260 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases in the 24-hour reporting period to 8pm on Sunday.
This figure is up by 52 from the previous reporting period on Monday.
Two COVID-related deaths were recorded, with 155 hospital cases receiving treatment for the virus and 28 cases in ICU.
Australian children aged five to 11 may also be eligible for the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine from January 10, following an announcement by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, which granted provisional approval for the vaccine's use in children within the age bracket.
The first dose figure sits at 94.7 per cent, with 92.8 per cent of adults 16+ fully vaccinated.
Figures for people aged 12-15 are at 81.3 per cent for one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine received and 77.2 per cent of people aged 12-15 have received two doses.
Testing figures are at 58,706 in the last 24-hour period.
