KELSEY Webb's first goal for Bathurst - it was a moment her whole side celebrated as not only was it a good reward for her efforts at the Indoor State Championships, but it saw the open women's side place fifth in division one.

Bathurst had initially been drawn to play in division two of the Goulburn-based titles, but after another side withdrew late, it was promoted into the top division.
The aim for Bathurst was to ensure it retained its spot in the top flight and it was mission accomplished.
The Jye Bunt coached outfit was unlucky not to qualify for the semi-finals, but when Webb scored in dying minutes of the final game against North Sydney and Beaches on Sunday, it handed Bathurst a solid fifth placing.
"I don't think we've won our last game in a long time," Bunt said.
"They [North] had a few missed opportunities, open goals missed, and we had quite a few chances - Tammy missing a stroke - but young Kelsey scored her first goal for us.
"From the start to the end she was a different player, she was definitely our most improved by a long way, she played really well."
Webb was one of the younger members of the Bathurst side which was a very different-looking outfit to the one which contested the last Indoor State Championships in 2019 and placed 10th in division one.
But Bathurst did have the likes of Australian representative Tamsin Bunt, her sister and ACT representative Rebecca Lee plus another two state level talents recruited from Canberra to help.
They finished with three wins across five games and coach Bunt was delighted with the brand of hockey they produced.
"It wasn't the best team we've ever had, but it was probably one of our best performances from an indoor perspective given the way we played," he said.
"Overall it was some of the best indoor Bathurst has played in the last 10 years.
"It was really good, we only narrowly missed out on the semi-finals and considering we had a lot of girls pull out and for two of the games we only had six players, I think we did very well.
"The other teams were quite strong and it was really only the one game that let us down. If we won that we would have been playing semi-finals and possibly even a final."
Bathurst began with a 6-1 win over New England then suffered a disappointing 4-1 loss to North West Sydney. A 5-3 success against Metro South West followed then Bathurst pushed eventual champions Illawarra South Coast all the way in their final pool game before going down 2-1.
"That game [against Illawarra] went down to the wire, we missed a couple of very good opportunities and probably should've won that game as well," Bunt said.
"They had been winning convincingly and after the game they did say we had been their hardest team, so that was pretty good. By that game our girls had really gelled together.
"Three out of five was a pretty good result, especially because last time we played we were relegated. They were really good to coach."
