Mr Hallahan says the work starts early to ensure the September fun run is ready to be held again.
“We have a meeting after the jog in September – which, really, is a bit of a catch-up,” he said.
“But then we start meeting again and planning from about March onwards.”

The 7.5-kilometre jog will be held on Sunday, September 23 at the new earlier time of 9.30am so the presentations after the event don’t push into people’s lunchtimes.
Bathurst District Prostate Cancer Support Group and Bathurst branch of the Red Cross have both been public in recent months about their difficulties in attracting new members and Mr Hallahan said the Edgell Jog organising committee has faced the same challenges.
“We have had difficulty getting people on the committee,” he said. “People don't seem to want to be on committees.
“Ours is a fairly small committee, so there's more work for us.”
But he said that was a challenge for another time and the committee was focused, at the moment, on putting on another strong jog.
Online entries are being taken for the event and those who enter online before 3pm on Friday, September 21 will go into the draw for the early bird prize of $300.
The major draw prize for all those who take part is a trip to Fiji, partly funded by Panorama Cruise and Travel and partly funded by the Edgell Jog committee.
Mr Hallahan said those who register in the walking section will also be in the running to win a 12-month Cityfit team coaching gym membership.
