The Bureau of Meteorology is also predicting snow above 900 metres on Saturday, just a fortnight out from the start of spring.
The bureau’s MetEye website shows a large band of snow across the region about 1pm on Sunday, stretching past Crookwell in the south and west to Orange.
Bathurst can expect a top of 15 degrees on Saturday and eight on Sunday.
It will be even colder in Oberon where the mercury is expected to reach just 10 on Saturday and four on Sunday.
There is a chance of light showers both days.
