Ms Yeung, who is one of the partners at San Francisco-based 500 Startups, will interact with local businesses during an investment session this Monday, October 29 from 4pm to 6pm.

The festival began on October 19 and will continue until November 4.

“Edith Yeung’s visit will be among the highlights as she shares information and answers questions on what makes a good investor pitch and what she looks for in companies, giving our local startups an edge when seeking financial backing,” he said.
Ms Yeung’s firm has invested in more than 2000 companies including Silk Labs (acquired by Apple), Fleksy (acquired by Pinterest), Human (acquired by Mapbox), AISense, Penrose, Cryworks, Piper, Apptopia, Palantir.
These companies are mostly in the field of mobile, artificial intelligence and blockchain startups.
