This newspaper has united with other Australian Community Media (ACM) mastheads (formerly Fairfax Media) that supported Buy A Bale fundraising campaigns to spread goodwill to our farming community.
These are the messages from you to our farmers:
“Have a merry xmas and new year and hope you get some very good rain,” Patrick, Dubbo.
“Merry Christmas to all. Thanks for putting food on the table. It’s hard on all of us at the moment. But you gotta keep your heads up. It’s got to break soon. There’s help coming. Don’t feel bad except it. We’re all thinking of you. Merry Christmas,” Michael Parker, Wellington.
“Merry Christmas you wonderful people. Thank you so much for everything you do every single day to provide nourishment for our country. May your Christmas be happy and hopefully (fingers crossed) bucketing with rain,” from the Brown Family, Wellington.
“Thank you. From sun up to sun down you don’t stop. Providing Australia with fresh produce, we truly wouldn’t be here today without you guys and the truckers that work hard to. So thanks and have a merry Christmas,” from the Clark family, Lithgow.
