Before the city goes into its pre-Christmas slumber, the society's young talents, along with Abercrombie House, will present three performances of a one-act adaptation of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
"Our cast of 22, ranging from seven to 17 years, are excited for their performances," Carillon Junior Theatrical Society's Bronwyn Colley said.
"With supporting music by Tiff Mason and an idyllic setting, you're in for a treat."
The 75 to 80-minute adaptation will be performed this Friday, December 13 at 7pm, and Saturday, December 14 at 4.30pm and 7pm.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for concession and students, and free for those five and under. A family price is also available.
"For 30 minutes prior to each performance, there will be barista coffee, tea and hot chocolate available, along with iced chocolate and iced coffee," Mrs Colley said.
"Please bring along a picnic hamper and your favourite chair or blanket, or use those provided, and enjoy the beautiful setting while supporting these young actors."
It's been a big year for the youngsters of the Carillon Junior Theatrical Society, who performed Aladdin Jnr in October and November and were visited by Broadway star (and former Bathurst boy) Ainsley Melham in August.
