A triple-0 call to a property on Hampden Park Road in Kelso was received just after 7am on Wednesday with reports of an acid spill.
Fire and Rescue NSW duty commander Inspector Steve Evans said crews are on scene.
"There's been a small acid spill and Kelso and Bathurst crews are attending the incident and making further inquiries," he said.
There have been no reports of injuries.
At this stage firefighters could not confirm what type of acid was involved or the name of the property or business where the spill occurred.
